Sry for the late update... freaking busy with work past few days.... i sometimes wonder how some people have time to blog everyday... resizing the pictures and sht already took up quite alot of time.. well anywayz... i reached A'famosa Resort in about 2 hours... had to pay 10 bux for parking ( later i found out that i didnt need to since i went there as media  wtf*)...well first thing i did was to figure out where the arenas was...there were quite a number of people already there... it was like 3pm only?i mean, what was there to do before 5pm?

Next thing was to check into my room...went to the main resort hotel...saw Joey G there checking in as well... greeted him and then proceded to the counter... the receptionist asked if i had a book or reservation number... all i was given was a piece of paper that said i had a complimentary room under my name... so i gave her my name and ic number... she went thru the list and found out that i wasnt supposed to be at the main resort but another condo/apartment villa that was just down the road...haihz what to do im just media...drove over the villa and checked in... got my key and went to look for the room... to my amazement it was just a small room that i thought in my head.. it was like a studio apartment kinda thing.. wow kinda cool... thanks alot pervert designs!!

anywayz i had a nap and got ready...went downstairs to the arena around 6pm... the sky wasnt dark yet.. and manage to take some nice pics

... it started to get dark around 7ish the skyline was filled with beautiful colors, many thanks to pollution but it made the pictures great!

Well that was the only upside i guess...it rained heavily two days before this and so happen they had the arena's on a big field...so no need guessing what 20k plus people walking on the damp field would cause.... it was so muddy that u had to tip toe from arena to arena... really potong stim lo.... how to shuffle in mud?...

fuck some people just didnt care... they took off their shoes/sandals and played in da mud....well if it didnt smell like horse shit i would had joined them... well i had work to do.. so i went to each and every arena and took some pics... met this cute girl half way thru...

took her picture and continued on my mission....they had 6 arenas this year compared to the two last year....

the music was really great but too bad the location sucked!... anyways cant wait for next year's recharge.

Woke up around 9.30 am.... had to sleep in the living room the night before.... why? long story short, my parents are still living in the stone age....anywayz, dragged my lazy arse to the bathroom and got ready for the day....

checked if i brought my important stuff....wallet, handphone, watch, misc accesories, trusty topman cap... good to go...

log on to greet my second wife and looked trough the emails....

saved the layout plan into my phone just in case i got lost.

Took my stuff to the living room and had a light breakfast....

said goodbye to my mom and im off!... RECHARGE REVELATION GLOBAL GATHERING here i come!... err that was long... hehe..

unfortunately for me i ran into some trouble on the way... got stopped by the roadside for forgetting something... I FORGOT MY CAMERA... omg...well took care of that and continued on my way...

stopped by Fei Po auntie’s place for my lunch...grabbed a few cans of red bull and some mineral water.. very important lesson i learned from last years recharge was that you will get tired easy from the long night partying!.. nothing a few cans of redbull cant fix... paid for my lunch and continued my journey...

Wow didnt know it was 3 months ago since my last post.. i even didnt post anything about the new years.. it sucked anyway.. Managed to land a job at MYC ( salient information ). It is a creative branding agency that targets malaysian youths. we publish a mag every month and you can get it from any college or uni within the Klang Valley.. you might even see it in selected Starbucks and McDonalds outlets.

 

Well i applied for the creative communication designer post.. which requires me to be able to design webpages and produce multimedia videos..and all that multimedia sht.. Somehow what i am doing now and what i applied for varried alot. Besides Multimedia stuff im now handling graphic stuff as well... I have to design a few of the magazine pages as well.. its not that i dont like designing graphic stuff but somehow i feel im not doing what i want to do in the first place...i got to meet clients as well... jsut yesterday i was asked to come up with a proposal to present to one our clients... I had no experience at all preparing proposals and i was like a total blur!!! i mean i didnt learn this sht at all in college and now i have to come up with one in like 3 hours time... WTF..With some help from my collegues i managed to string some stuff together.. haihz.. stress wei... but somehow i enjoy it... makes me feel that i can do anything... lolz... and i should.. so i guess this job is bringing out the best that i can do... but im not sure how long can cope... cause my workload keeps piling up because i get lots of different task everyday... I AM LOUSY AT TIME MANAGEMENT... i guess thats another skill i got to work on.... fortunately i dotn have much datelines ..currently just two... Total revamp of www.myc.com.my and some misc stuff.. not important enought to state...

 

Anywayz last sat i was sent to MySciFiFan Outpost at Cineleisure Damansara to write a review on their outlet launch... at first glance it looks like some Starwars toy shop.. But i saw tables and chairs and was wondering what they were for... so i went in to take a look around.. apparently i wasnt the only media guy there... there few other guys taking photos and writing stuff down and sht...( Lime, Gempak, Star and some other magz i cant remember ) ... Inside, it had a small cafeteria along with a game room and movie room... there were like weird board games available to the people there.. so weird that i didnt know what games they were... there was one part of the room where they like had boards with terrain designed on them.. and there were small characters on the board... apparently it was Warhammer 40k.. i was introduced to this guy Edwin. He was very friendly and explained the game to me... almost 90% of the time i couldnt understand what the heck he was talking about.. well he asked his son to play a demo game with me

... the game had like 8 freaking dices... wtf! and u had to use a measuring tape to move the chars.. so u throw the dice and make a decision on whether to move,shoot, or attk... watever... i just played along.. this small dude like memorized like a 200 page book ( bible to them ) of the syntax of the game... because every char like had different skills and sht... i picked up one and took a closer look at it... it was some commander with some flag... the dude painted the whole char by himself... he is 12 by the way... and he had like one box full of painted charaters... the one i picked up was this commander with some special skill and he said that it could attack twice and stuff like that.. i looked at the fragile piece of metal and thought... yeah right.... haha wtf man..well i lost the game ... i didnt care anyway.. throughout the whole game i was just throwing dices and just observing how the young kid played with those small chars.. he would pick one up .. move it 6inches with the measuring tape and then throw the dice .. then my soldier died.. i was like thinking to myself "GEEK!"... its such a waste of time! and not only that... another guy came.. he was like maybe older than me, and like teaching me as well.. wah lau... no life meh? play stupid board game... well i think its stupid anyway... if my kid was like that spending his time playing with some metal soldiers, i would beat the crap out of him... Go do something more productive la.. play a sport or something... the only excersice from that game was moving your soldiers across the board...using a measuring tape! wtf.. how lame is that...

 

Maybe the only cool part of the whole thing was that i took pics with darth vader! i mean he had the breathing voice and sht.. everything.. he was like padded with the armour and sht as wel.. the only weird thing was his Mask was bigger than his body.. and he was kinda short... ahha..

Finally after 3 long years, my journey has ended... and on to a new adventure in the big wide world.. it was great while it lasted but now im destined for greater things... pictures are below.

2 weeks ago we went to eat seafood at LALA CHONG subang... its near subang airport.. it was pauline's birthday and she decided to take us out for dinner. Good food... wasnt that great but for the price she paid it was reasonable...maybe cause we had some pastries b4 we went there.. our appetite wasnt that great... haha but we did enjoyed our time there... one funny thing happened there. We asked one of the waitress to help take our group shot, which didnt turn out that great.. its the picture below..=.=... so we asked her to take another... this time another waitress said she wanted to take it for us... acting she can take good pictures, she took it..and it turn out blur... so we asked her to take another.. this time she yelled somehting in mandarin im gussing means great picture and when we took a look at it .........we all laughed.. she had so much excitement in her face we thought it turned out good.. it was even more worse than the 2nd pic... haha none of us had the heart to tell it to her cause she was so happy with it....=.= so we just left .. lolz..

 

 

we went to souled out after that .. pauline paid for the drinks again.. THANKS ALOT! HOPE U LIKE MY PRESENT!....anyone can guess wat i bought her? eheh.. think 21....thats all for now.. dont really have to mood to blog now since my life is a total bore...only will update if necessary..

Hoho... had a blast at a'famosa last saturday...Revelation 4 rave! woot... the atmosphere wasnt that great but the music was great.. they had two arenas, one for trance,techno sht and another for r&b and hiphop sht.. had a fucking great time... the people were great the music was better... i jumped(so called dancing) like a fool for at least 4 hours straight.. must be a record ...lolz!... ya but i know better next time im wearing shorts and a black tee.... my green one was totally soaked in sweat... abit the embarasing... ben was the clever 1 that day.. haha..i sweat so much even the ciggies in my pocket got soaked... oh ya...the mineral water there costs fucking 6 ringgit! wtf.. Francis took a video of me shuffling, well i call it shuffling ahhaha... ill try to put it up if i can... but until then i guess pictures will do..
